Is there any census data for St Columb Major and Padstow.
I am looking for the Nicholls family who lived in a large house called  Bosplovans near St Columb major. I dont have the parents name except the wife's maiden name was Robartes and they had the following children
Frank Robartes NICHOLLS .
Gus NICHOLLS .
Fred NICHOLLS .
Harry NICHOLLS .
plus 2 daughters
Frank was the youngest boy and was born around 1869.Frank married Elizabeth MARTYN 
The father died in Padstow.

Only one problem: Mother-in-law is down as Mrs Gilbert - do you suppose she married twice or is the Roberts/Robartes her maiden name?  By the way a Robartes family lived at Lanhydrock in Cornwall - beautiful place now owned by the National Trust.

And couldn't resist seeing where Katey, Willie and Gus were in 1881:

Katey & Willie were at Duke St in Padstow as a grocer and draper, while Gus seems to have been off at boarding school in Weston in Somerset.
