I would be grateful if anyone can help find the birth of Edward Cahill born around 1923 i n this county
and his marriage to a Mary Kelly Please....

Or where to search !

I don't have any more detial's that I can offer.

If he was born in 1923 and married in 1939 then his birth year might be a bit off. 16yrs is rather young to get married.
What source do you have for your facts. This might help in tracking his birth.

Edward was born 04 07 1923 in county Roscommon, date given by one of his children.Married Mary Anna Kelly, no date given.

Bearing in mind you shouldn't name the living I am just wondering if this child is still alive?
Could the person confirm where he/she was born?
This could help to place where marriage took taken place.

The death has occurred of Edward (Ted) CAHILL  Brackloon, Castlerea, Roscommon
   At Aras Mhathair Phol, Castlerea. Reposing at his residence on Sunday afternoon from 2pm with removal at 7pm to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Ballinagare. Mass of the Resurrection on Monday morning at 11am with the funeral proceeding to Drummin Cemetery. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to Cancer Research or the Patient Comfort Fund, Aras Mhathair Phol, c/o Gaynor Funeral Directors, Castlerea.
