Hi everyone.  I'm looking for any information on John Douglas born about 1776 in Glencairn, Dumfries

The only information I have so far is that he is my 3x Gr Grandfather, married to Agnes Clerk/Clark b. 09 Feb 1776 in Glencairn, daughter of William Clerk/Clark and Mary Moffat.  John and Agnes are named on there son Walter's death record.  Walter Douglas is my 2x Gr Granddfather and he was married to Catherine Black.

I have done many searches on Scotland's People, but, whether there aren't any relevant records there, or whether it is my lack of skill in the searching that site, I'm not sure, but I am unable to find anything at all for John.
