Trying to find birth details of the late Lois Marie CLIFF born about 1934 in New Zealand, parents Reginald James CLIFF and Mabel Rosella MEACLEM.
Lois died in 2005.

This birth won't be on the online New Zealand Birth index until 1934 (or whatever date her birth was registered).

If you're in New Zealand, then you could always look up the NZ Birth Index microfiche (larger libraries usually have them).  It will however only give you the year and quarter, and place in which her birth was registered.

If she died in New Zealand (in the year you mentioned) then in all probability her actual birth date will show in the online NZ Death Index listing for her.

Where did she die (and under what surname) ??

Somebody at the ancestry.com site has a "tree" with her father's name in it (Reginald James CLIFF).

Problem is that you need to contact the tree owner- who prefers not to publish details at that site.
Name and a contact link though, have been provided.

Trying to find a Death Notice or similar, all I have is the year of death.
She would have died in the South Island probably around Christchurch area.
