A query for the district name in Hamilton.  And the name of the place where the person was born Badley? , in Cadder, Lanarkshire.

This is in my neck of the woods Bronwen, Chryston is about 7 miles from Glasgow so nowhere near Hamilton.  Bedlay is an old castle at the NE end of the village. Edmiston is a toff's name so maybe born in the castle? ;D or the estate. The castle was up for sale a few years ago for under half a million.
