Can't see this street on the 1939 if it is Swansea. Also I'm afraid we can't give information from the 1939 register.

Can't see one by Googling either, nearest Grange Street appears to be in Port Talbot.

I was wondering that as well, Carole, nowhere near Swansea.

I don't think it helps particularly, but there are Grange Road(s) in both Swansea and Southampton!

Botley Road was the address of Moorgreen Hospital.
Moorgreen was previously South Stoneham Union Workhouse, later renamed Eastleigh, and renamed in the 1930s as West End Institution.
It contained provision for Mental Health.

I'm Kath's sister she's at work at the moment but will get back to you later.

Albert was a ships fireman which would explain how he came to be in Swansea and Southampton. He was admitted to Borough hospital twice in Southampton, on the second occasion he gave 54 Grange Street,Swansea and Mrs. Morgan as a relative/friend as his address, this was in 1936. I think she is trying to find out if this lady is a family member that we don't know about.
