Carvers of Melbury Abbas in Dorset

I am searching for living descendants of the 9 children of the Rev Henry Carver and Blanche Carver (nee Liptrap), Vicar of Melbury Abbas in Dorset until 1915, father of Lionel Carver (Irish Guards) who was killed in France on 26th May 1918.

I am Henry Carver's great grandson.

Hello,

I am one of Henry Carver's living descendants. My great-uncle was Lionel Carver, and I have had the pleasure of visiting Melbury Abbas with my father, Daniel Carver, when I was nine.

My grandfather, John Carver, was the son of Bernard. My grandfather immigrated with my grandmother Daphne Eunice (nee Ash) to Canada after their work as medical missionaries in India and in the UK. Sadly, my grandfather passed away before I could meet him, but my father and his siblings have maintained connections with Henry's descendants. Lionel Carver's photo is in our dining room and I am remembering him and my family's service in the World Wars especially today.
