My grandfather was born in Sean Ross Abbey mother and baby home and he recently passed away. He had told us some of his life story as it were, but there are blanks. I am very interested to know more about these blanks and I have found that as expected, it isn't easy to find. I have requested his files from the HSE in Ireland, joined forums, genealogy sites and Facebook groups but I wonder could anyone else give a beginner some tips? Or- long shot, is there anyone else here who has any past history or experience of this place, especially for 1943?
