Let us know how you get on.

LM

There's nothing conclusive unfortunately  :'( :'( :'(

One or two that could be him (no Samuel William or W's Tho). As there are too many I cant afford to unlock any of the households. I wont give up on the 1939 census idea tho, just temporarily stumped  ???

Unfortunately we are not allowed to give details  from 1939, perhaps something else will turn up

By the way, was Elizabeth on 1871 married?

Just had a check and she wasnt  :)

Its strange, for such a rare surname, I cant seem to find her or a possible family before the 1871 census. When you couple it together with the change in birthplace from Birkenhead to St Ives, well, just seems a little strange.

My guess is perhaps John from Flintshire was   married and therefore  not free to marry her, what about Emma born circa 1874?

Yes that certainly sounds plausible. No joy on Emma unfortunately, nothing at all. The only other mention of a Newat in Cornwall I've found is a record on find my grave for a Lucy Elizabeth Newat in Falmouth cemetary, but no dates that I can see.

Not that I am able to find  :'(   I'm starting to remember why I took a break from this side of the family tree  :P

There is a family tree with same parents but showing
EMILY HARTE DAVIES born circa 1875 but on 1901 she is shown as just Emma Harte married with her parents, strange thing is I can' find any births for these sibings

Yes me neither, nothing for either Emma Newat or Emily Harte Davies, this whole part of the family is turning out to be really tough to crack.
