Yes, but I can't see any evidence on Ancestry.

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
Remember - "They'll be found when they want to be found" !!!

The information from Gary Tufft family tree is; James Tufft trovdwainer was born in1818 in Wolverhampton, Staffordshire to Mary Millard 42yrs and John Tufft (1770-1821)

He married Elizabeth Morgan in Wolverhampton on 22/3/1840 when he was 22yrs. Does this help?

If you look on FreeReg you can see the details from the marriage.
James was an Iron Brazier. His father,John,was a cordwainer. :)
