LOOKUP REQUEST - PITTY, ESSEX

I wonder if someone could help me unravel a confusion...

Familysearch gives James Pitty,  bapt 1 Oct 1749, son of John & Sarah Pitty in 'Essex'

I have scoured the Essex registers, but cannot find this James Pitty
Any help would be much appreciated

He is NOT the James Pitty,  bapt 3 Aug 1746, son Robert Pitty & Sarah, Chrishall, Essex because  that James was buried at Heydon (described as 'of Chrishall') in Feb 1826, and the 'other' James Pitty left a will written in Sept 1829.

Do you think it is the James Pitty who married ? Watson in Chrishall on 01.11.1781?

It says the James Pitty baptism is on image 01368, so it ought surely be on the latter part of the film?
Chrishall baptisms for the period are indexed on FamilySearch, and Clavering is transcribed on FreeReg.

Boyd's marriage index has John Pitty to Sara Pitty in Great Chishall in 1747

Dear Ollym & Jonw65 - that's extremely helpful.  I've been through the Chrishall, Great Chishill & Heydon registers with a toothcomb - I'll go back to SEAX and look at the others.  One is indeed the James Pitty who married Nunn Watson on 1st November, 1781 at Chrishall - but he was buried at Heydon ('Of Chrishall') on 11 February 1826, aged 79 years.
I thought he was my ancestor, but I realised today that I've been trying to collate 2 different James Pitty's.  The James Pitty I *know* I link back to was buried at Ashwell in 1832 and its his baptism I am looking for, so I may be barking up the wrong tree looking at Essex records, though there are a huge tribe of Pitty's from there.

I need to work back through my records again - thank you bothfor being so helpful
