According to marriage certificate, Henry was a cordwainer when he married as was Sarah's father Peter, Sarah was a bookbinder.

The 1841 does not show specific birthplaces - only if they were born in the county in which they were living.

Although Henry and Sarah were living in Nantwich - you cannot assume she was actually born there as entry just confirms she was born in Cheshire

May be incorrect but there is an 1841 entry for a Peter Crawford aged 55 and wife Susannah 50 living in Nantwich.  Can't make out Peters occupation for comparison with 1838 marriage cert but it doesn't look like bookbinder

Cazza47  said Peter was a CORDWAINER. It was his daughter Sarah that was a Bookbinder.  ;)

Looking at the images of the register for Nantwich there is a baptism 31 January 1820 for Sarah daughter of Peter and Susan CROWFOOT. Peter's occupation is Shoemaker. No actual date of birth given.

I guess the  Vicar misheard the name.
