Elizabeth Rumple? Hull
« on: Monday 20 November 17 17:21 GMT (UK) »
I have a newspaper report dated 12 Feb 1875 on the death of a resident of the Hull Charterhouse.  I know about the dead man.  But the paper says that he was found by "Elizabeth Rumple who lives at the Charterhouse".  I can't find find anyone by that name (or anywhere near that name - the paper was and is notorious for getting names wrong) either on our register or any BMDs or on FamilySearch.   Could someone please try the 1871 and 1881 censuses for the Charterhouse to see if there is a female resident who could be the one.
