Looking for any information about Henry Hendy born in Monmouthshire 1850, died Chorley Lancashire 1920 and Elizabeth Davies or from her 1st marriage Proudfoot 1864-?. They were together on the 1911 census then cannot find any more info regarding Elizabeth.

When did they marry?  Did she marry as Davies or Proudfoot? married 27yrs

Where was Elizabeth born?  Abersiccen? Wales (Abersychen)

Any children?

As you have the 1911 entry - have you used that info to work backwards through earlier censuses?

Henry first appeared in Wigan in 1881 on his own but as married, have never found a marriage between Henry and Elizabeth, nor a death for Elizabeth, even on Henry certificate it doesn't mention whether he was widowed, married or anything which is unusual, Elizabeth isn't buried with Henry.

I couldn't find a marriage either.  Where did you get Proudfoot from?  Daughter Emma's birth in 1893 shows mmn Davies

Who reported Henry's death in 1920

There is an 1851 entry but his age is way out and I wonder if it should be 17mths rather than 17yrs given the age of his grandparents.  There is no 1841 entry to support the age in 1851
