Hi All, does anyone have any info on the above couple? I believe they were from Ireland but a son, Thomas Leeson, moved to Ayrshire, Scotland around the turn of the 19th/20th centuries and started up a whole new branch of the Leeson family, of which a good friend of mine is a member.
I am researching on his behalf.
Any info greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

Hi Dundee, thank you for your reply.

I really just wanted some initial confirmation that the couple came from Ireland so that I could take it from there.
I found a lot of info on their descendants in Ayrshire and elsewhere in Scotland but nothing on the couple themselves, and suspected John Charles and Annie Maria were from Ireland. As soon as I get a chance I will check out the links you kindly provided ...and hopefully my suspicions will be confirmed.
Thank you once again for kindly taking the time to respond.

Bingo!   ;D
Well done Dundee, I took the opportunity for a quick look and immediately found the couple complete with two children in the 1911 census.
Thank you very much for your help in this.
Best regards.
