Thank you all for your extensive help. Special thanks to Groom.
There is an involved story behind my request. The 2 brothers James and Lawrence were the last of the Honeyball dynasty.
After Olympia's death in 1956,the family home " Newgardens " at Teynham fell into disrepair and was vandalised while her affairs were being sorted. Apparently took over 10 years to clear Probate. The property being eventually demolished and replaced with modern estate housing .
Rumour,s at the time of her death were of suicide due to being bankrupted by her her youngest son Lawrence (1902-1968)who was a socialite Gambler on the London scene. Other suggestion was  that she had been bitten by a snake in her extensive gardens which comprised numerous ponds and lots of brick paved winding paths. Until your help ,as you know I had no knowledge of eldest son James (1901- ????) .I presume he carried on his travels after his Mothers Death.
        Once again ,Thanks a Bunch .. :)

I have not had sight of her will .where from and how can I obtain a copy.

Looking further,I don't think there was a will. (sorry) It just says Administration (limited) to JFMH.

Someone will correct me if I'm off base.

Thank you Maureen ,that would probably explain why the affairs took so long to sort.
Next problem is, if no will is it possible to obtain a copy of Probate results.Hopefully to see where any money,s (if any) etc. went and who got the house and land etc.

Yes, that's correct, Maureen. If it just says administration it means that there was no will. Obviously a wealthy family as James travelled everywhere first class and never gave an occupation. I wonder why he travelled under different names though?

Just looked at the probate and that also says "no occupation"

Any idea where the Hearne part of his name came from? I see the Martyn was his mother's maiden name.

Maureen the link works fine.
What can I say .You lot never cease to amaze me.
So James died 1962  before the affairs of his mother were sorted .
I should have said earlier  brother Lawrence was involved with inventing radar and radio technology ,before he started gambling all his mothers  money away.

What a fascinating thread...

He reliquished the name Honeyball in 1926 in Tasmania http://www.rootschat.com/links/01l4g/

Traffic prosecution in Tasmania in the same year http://www.rootschat.com/links/01l4h/
