:) Hi again, have only had a cursory glance, but have you purchased any Birth/Marriage & Death certificates or relied on records available online?
Keyboard86

Yes for other members but not for Sarah Taylor yet as I also am struggling to find records of her baptism too. I only have her marriage records.

Hi kd,

I have made a start of ordering Sarah Taylor's birth certificate in PDF last night and stopped as I'm not sure how to fill in the COL number... Things have certainly changed since the last time I ordered a hard copy certificate.

Can you please advise me re where do I get the  COL Number from as I need to fill in as shown below: -

"My Recent Order Details
Please enter the COL Number of a specific order or start and end dates for the period you wish to view:

Please ensure that you download your PDF copy of an entry to your device within 3 months from notification that your order is placed. To download your PDF click on the View PDF button to view your image. Select "File" and "Save as" and save to a folder on your device.

Orders are only retained on the online ordering system for three months after which they are deleted, including any PDF documents attached to the order."

Thanks in advance

Hi Adams,

You should have an email once you have completed your order, that will give details and Col Number.

Found the email and I realise I don't need to do anything yet regarding COL unless I have any enquiries regarding my application. So now I sit and wait for the arrival of my PDF certificate, which I will share on here.

Thank you and the search continues - wondering where she has disappeared to?

I have also received the PDF but am having problems in opening it so I've tried opening the details and ended up with blanks next to Date of birth, etc!:-  :'(  I'm going to email the PDF to my hubby, see if he can open it...
