Cemetery in Keith, Banffshire, Scotland

Hello

I am trying to find the Cemetery in Keith, Banffshire, Scotland.  I have that it is called simply, Keith Cemetery, but when I try looking it up under that name all I find is the Keith Cemetery in Keith, Moray, Scotland.  Does the Cemetery in Keith, Banffshire have a different name?

Another ancestor is supposedly buried at the Keith Old Cemetery in Keith, Banffshire, not sure if it is the same cemetery as I mentioned above or if there are 2 cemeteries in Keith, Banffshire.

Keith, Banffshire and Keith, Moray are the same place.

Keith (Scottish Gaelic: Baile Chčith, or Cčith Mhaol Rubha (archaic)) is a small town in the Moray council area in north east Scotland. It has a population of 4,734.
Until 1975 it was in Banffshire, a name which persists in common usage and historical references.

There are two cemeteries in Keith. Keith Old Cemetery and Broomhill Road Cemetery.
I have access to the burial records for Keith Old Cemetery.

James Fraser b. 1801 d. 16 Sep 1875  I know James is buried in Keith Cemetery, John Fraser plot Sect 212 West Side.

So I'm almost positive Isobel, Helen and Margaret will be in the Keith Cemetery.  I am unsure about the parents and son John.  I'm hoping to find these graves to help verify dates, even if it's only the year of death.

None of these are on Find a Grave and I don't know of any other web site for looking up international grave sites.  I live near Seattle, WA USA and can't afford to travel at this time.

I can't see anything for parents William and Marjory. The records I have start in 1829.

The rest of them are all in the same very large plot which looks to have 47 people buried in it.

There are two burial grounds in Keith.

One is the Old Cemetery, which is one the bank of the River Isla between Old Keith and Fife-Keith. See http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/4089091

The other is the much newer Broomhill Cemetery, beside the road to Banff on the north-eastern outskirts of the town. See http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/747597

All gravestone inscriptions in the present Moray local authority area were surveyed in 1978-1979, and this information is a large part of the data in LIBINDX http://libindx.moray.gov.uk/mainmenu.asp

There is a project to add to LIBINDX all records of burials in both, but this is as yet incomplete.

There is also a kirkyard at Drummuir in the parish of Botriphnie http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/7016, but this is obviously not in the town or parish of Keith, even though its postal address nowadays includes Keith as the post town. 

Keith is in the historic county of Banffshire, which still exists for ceremonial purposes, but for modern local government purposes it is part of Moray, along with about two-thirds of the parishes of Banffshire. The other Banffshire parishes now come under Aberdeenshire.

I wanted to Thank you again for the list for the John Fraser. Section Number on Plan 212 in the Keith Graveyard.  I found all but 3 of the Fraser's on the list, in my tree.  The 3 I could not find were children and it's hard to match when you don't have a birth date or a parents name.  But I also found several other people I wasn't expecting.  I know there are more Fraser's buried in the Keith Graveyard then is on the list but I don't need exact location like Section Numbers.  It's just wonderful knowing where they are interned so if I ever get the chance to visit Scotland, I will know where to visit.

To make it easier for other researchers I have added memorials for all those I found on Findagrave.com, it's a wonderful genealogical tool, especially when people add Bio's for the ancestor.
