Spencer Whiteman Born Udimore Sussex around 1800

Hi I'd appreciate any help in finding anything about the birth of Spencer Whiteman from parish registers etc. I already know a great deal about his later life, but would like to confirm any birth details. Udimore and 1800 have appeared in Ancestry family trees, but there is no proof I can see for this.

Is he the Spencer Whiteman that married Philadelphia Sargent in Icklesham 1825     Where do you get his place of birth from.

There is a baptism of a Spencer Woodhams Whiteman recorded at St. Mary, Udimore on 6 Feb 1801 having been born on 11 Dec 1800 to William and Mary Whiteman taken from a transcription of the baptismal registers of Udimore held by the Sussex Family History Group.

Yes I believe he is the one who married Philadelphia Sargent. If you have any more details of their parents etc I am very interested.
I know from various sources that he was born around 1800 in Sussex; various family trees on Ancestry specify Udimore as his place of birth and 11 Dec 1800 as a birth date, although I suspect this is baptism.
I am looking for better proof of his parents and date of birth/baptism ideally from parish registers but have been unable to find anything online.
Any help greatly appreciated.

No I don't think so - it is held by the Sussex FHG.

Sometimes you just need to join the society but you could email them to ask if someone could provide a copy from the original parish register which I am sure they have access to.

You would have to ask about the marriage of William and Mary anyway as this is not online even to the FHG.

Marriage at Icklesham was 18 Feb 1826.
Both of the parish, witnesses Levi Barden and Mary Hommard.
I think FamilySearch have indexed the banns as well.

Phyllis Whiteman, wife of Spencer Whiteman, and children Ann Maria, 2 years, and Angelina, 6 weeks, to Udimore.

Anna Maria was baptized 8 November 1826 at Icklesham.
and Angelina, 26 February 1828
Abode Icklesham, father a Labourer.

Angelina Whiteman was buried at Icklesham, 26 March 1828. Just two weeks after the date of that order.
