Abbots Langley marriage 1804
« on: Friday 08 December 17 15:43 GMT (UK) »
Hi

Does anyone have access to these parish registers, I am trying to find out if Levi Taylor who married Sarah Wihuson was a widower and if so I am also looking for the death of his first wife Elizabeth.

Many thanks

David ;)

Hi avidt.
Levi Taylor married Elizabeth Dimsey on the 9th August 1790 at St Albans Hertfordshire, there is a death for an Elizabeth Taylor on the 10th May 1803 at Abbots Langley. Levi then remarried to a Sarah Wilkerson on the 13th Feb 1804 at Abbots Langley, so was indeed a widower on his second marriage.
Regards Dave.

Hi Leka

That certainly does seem to be a possibility but it is some distance away from Abbots Langley but I think I might need to look for their children and see if they married in this area. My direct ancestor married in Abbots Langley.

Kind Regards

David :D
