Rosie99; Many Many Thanks for your reply on this thread. I was aware of the site you have mentioned but lately never visited the site.
Louisa Maud; Thanks for your reply and indeed it looks if he was the only child
Sandra; Why "here we go again" I only posted this thread yesterday and I first assumed that J.E.Dickson came from Glasgow in the first place. Then later a member found out that Dickson reported missing in action in the Burnley Express newspaper. That's why I put another thread on Lancashire.
Bomber Command research during WW2 in the South Eastern part of The Netherlands. Especially aircraft crash research and locating their crews.

Not particularly your threads but we do go through spells of people posting the same message on numerous boards and there has been a number lately.  Its just best to link them so that we can keep track of what others have found.

Anyone checked London Newspapers ?

Oh I understand Sandra no hard feelings :-*

I find it a bit complicated as son of Mr and Mrs Dickson of Glasgow and Nephew of Mr & Mrs Embley of Lowergate(Clitheroe), second in the Burnley express newspaper he was reported as Missing(why Burnley newspaper was he live there), third his parents came from Chelsea. Where we now looking for his relatives in Chelsea district??
