Hi,
Does anyone know where I can find the baptism/christening records for Gorton Monastery, Manchester from 1883 onwards. My Grandma was apparently baptised there.
Thank you.

Lancashire Online Parish Clerks site

Click on link and select "M" for Manchester - select "Gorton".
Drop down box "Location" includes St. Francis of Assisi - is this Gorton monastery?

yes it's St Francis of Assisi. I tried all the libraries in Manchester but couldn't find an email address to contact any of them so am really appreciative of the links given to me. Thank you.

Manchester & Lancashire Family History Society Catholic Register Index
www.mlfhs.org.uk/data/catholic_search.php
Searchable by surname.
Says registers for the church are at Lancashire County Archives. Some burials have been indexed by the society.
