Garston Marriage for John Ireland & Jane ? about 1843

I wonder could some kind person help me find the marriage of John Ireland (b. 1822, Hale/Speke, Lancs) to Jane ? about 1843, but could be later.

The 1851C has the family living at the Salt Works in Garston and they have the following children:

Charles 6 b. 1844 bapt St Michael's, Garston 27 Oct 1844
Thomas 3 b 1847 bapt St Michael's, Garston 11 Jul 1847
William 1 b 1850 bapt St Michael's, Garston 10 Mar 1850

The 1861C finds 4 more children:
Mary Jane  8 b. 1852, bapt St Michael's, Garston 25 Jul 1852
Emma 6 1855 bapt St Michael's, Garston 24 Jun 1855
John 3 1857 bapt St Michael's, Garston 23 Aug 1857
Betsy Jane 9 mos. 1860 bapt St Michael's, Garston

Also
Eliza b 15 Jan 1864 Bapt 4 Apr 1864. St Peter's, L'pool

Each census indicates Jane was born in Garston - but her family name eludes me since I have not been able to find the marriage record. Nor does any of the children's baptismal record indicate Jane's maiden name.

Checked births for children. Interesting. Jihn Ireland may have married 2 Jane's, in succession. Could not find anything for Charles b 1844 but found (Jane) Bellard for Thomas b. 1847 and (Jane) Graham for John (b. 1847).  D Quarter in WEST DERBY  Volume 20  Page 904. This seems the way to go.

But there are no deaths for a Jane Ireland, 1840-1847?

I suspect that Charles birth wasn't registered? (It wasn't compulsory until 1874!)
Or that his birth is registered under Jane's previous surname? Maybe she had been married before?

The remaining births and the marriage all tie together nicely

So, it seems that Charles b. 1844 was the son of John Ireland and Jane Graham, possibly not registered, but he was baptised 27 October 1844 @ St Michael's, Garston, by which time John had remarried, to Jane Bellard. But, what happened to Jane Graham? As you say, no evidence of Jane Ireland (nee Graham) death.
