I have a number of baptism documents showing my ancestors were of Denham Yorkshire. I cannot seem to locate any information about Denham in Yorkshire.
Can anyone throw any light on this please ?

Could be Denholme?

If they are baptism documents, does it give the church name?

what's the baptisee names and dates?
All census look up transcriptions are Crown Copyright http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/

Could it be Denholme? 

DENHOLME, in the parish of Bradford, and wapentake of Morley; 5 miles S. of Keighley."

Thanks  your replies, that is what I thought at first as I have other ancestors in Denholme.
I must have at least 8 baptism records but see also attached
This is from Ancestry

The earlier writing is much neater.

does the earlier writer have any Denholm addresses?

Thanks I had also found this earlier. Sally Amblers Father Issac died I think in about 1759.
I guess this may be one question I may not be able to get answered easily if at all!

It was the same document I used a programme that enhanced the picture
So far I have found no addresses just the word. Denham.
But I also have other documents between 10-15 years later that actually have both Denham and Denholme on the same page!

I think we have to remember that spelling was not quite so rigid in those days.  Perhaps it was a way of differentiating between two nearby areas.
