Marriage Look Up request please

I wondered if someone was visiting Herefordshire archives and could look up a marriage for me please George Jones marrying Frances Peake in1864 Herefordshire.

Because unless you do, it's a gargantuan task .

Although I cant help with the look up I think you will find Frances was christened as;
FANNY Peake 3 March 1844, Ludlow, Shropshire
Parents JAMES/ANN

Her GRO Birth Reg has her Mother as nee BISHOP

1841 in Ludlow, Shropshire we have;
James Peake, 25, Sadler
Anne Peake, 25
James Peake, 3
Charles Peake, 1
All not born in County

1851 in Herefordshire Anne has become Hannah and is Widowed;
Hannah Peake   36, Widow, Pauper-Wife of Sadler, born Tiberton, Herefordshire

Emma Peake   9
FANNY Peake   7, born Ludlow, Shropshire********
Hannah Peake   5
Elizabeth Peake   3***

*** Elizabeth has same Mothers mn on GRO Index


1861 Fanny is with her Mother and a sibling.


FreeBMD has a James PEAKE Marriage Herefordshire with Hannah BISHOP on same page.

Hannah Peake died 1870 age 54

The reference details suggest it was a register office marriage, so a lookup will not be possible.

Will do and thankyou once again, have decided to take a few days in hereford next year, so will take a visit to their archives as well
