Back to the drawing board as the Llanelidan couple were having children at the same time as th Llandegla couple:

1769 - Dorothy  (of Rhyd y meudwy)
1773 - Robert (-do-)    - the Llandegla pair also had a Robert in 1773

There is another possible at Llantysilio (to the South of Llandegla)

10 July 1768 Roberrt Roberts to Mary Evans (both otp)

but they also had children bpt at Llantysilio in 1768 and 1774 and that Robert was a weaver

Nothing else in the vicinity - so may have to look in the Corwen area or the records are lost/miss-attributed .

The problem is that the registers are very confused - burials and baptisms and marriages are often mixed up on the pages.

The Llanarmon one might still be possible - the first Mary might have died and Robert married another Mary. All I can say is that the Llanelidan  1766 marriage is not likely to be them.
