A helpful new resource!
« on: Saturday 23 December 17 23:51 GMT (UK) »
As it would appear to be, the link below is not an Electoral roll, but a collection of ITM's, births, deaths, burials etc., and more!   I'm not quite sure where to post it, ???but perhaps someone could please transfer it into the correct place!

Thank you and Merry Christmas!🎅🎅🎅

:) You're welcome Whenu!  I hope people find it useful!

Like me, you're probably at the relaxing part of Christmas Day by now!  Hope you and your family had a great day as well.  Weather was good, not too hot, so that what a bit of luck!

Had a great day with my son, his wife and her family here in Masterton.  Now I'm sitting home with my feet up before heading off to bed! Round two coming up probably early -mid January, when I'm hosting another "Christmas Lunch" for my daughter, Grandaughter and great Grandaughter, the  family who live in Wellington,  plus two grandsons currently away with their Mum, plus my son, his wife and her daughter.   Until then it's relax time!

Enjoy New Year!   :) :)

Hi jaybelnz

Just wanted to mention that the link you have kindly provided here, is a small portion of the wonderful researching effort of Dawn CHAMBERS.    :)

And because there is so much more to be had, I thought I'd add the following link, which if one scrolls to the  bottom of the page, it can be seen that other links are provided to ALL of Dawn's research findings and projects.  ;)

Voluntary Genealogical Activities :
1990 - 1997 = Pandora's Box
1999 to current  - this contains a search engine for the site
2006 - 2014 = Pandora's Box # 2

http://www.nzpictures.co.nz/pandora.htm

[Not sure if the link is already in our NZ Resources section - haven't yet checked.  But it certainly would be a welcome addition.   ;) ]

Thanks for that Lucy!  I remember trawling through a lot of Pandora stuff a good few years ago, (when I first began my FH research looking for information re my early settler). I'm originally from the Hutt Valley, and was a member of HVGS.  I was looking in the wrong place at the time though - and wrong time frame, should have been from around 1861-1872.  But of course, I didn't realise that at the time!  ;D was still a very green newbie!

Lynley Yates has also done so much transcribing for HVGS- whatever would we do without people like her and Dawn Chambers!
