George Robertson Margaret (nee McGregor) 1861 census ?
« on: Sunday 24 December 17 13:40 GMT (UK) »
Hi I am trying to locate my 4xgt uncle George Robertson and family. I have them in every census apart from the 1861. I have traced a christening record of their daughter Jessie MacGregor Robertson 10 May in Latimer and for their twin sons Thomas Scott and James in 1863 in Latimer. So hoping they were in this area for the census the family is
George b 1825 Kettins Angus Scotland occupation Gardener
Margaret b 1828 St Martins Perthshire Scotland
George b1850 Kilmarnock
David b 1853 Dumbarton
Elizabeth b 1854 St Martins
Andrew b1855 St Martins
William b 1857 St Martins
Thank you for any help

These are the places covered by Hemel RD
https://www.ukbmd.org.uk/reg/districts/hemel%20hempstead.html

These come under Amersham
https://www.ukbmd.org.uk/reg/districts/amersham.html

I normally look at online maps to see where places are and how close they are to other areas
