Hello,

Some details re Jack....

Divorce [??]:

https://www.archway.archives.govt.nz/ViewFullItem.do?code=22725365

Minniehaha.

Hello Linda ... just to confirm that the above ^ divorce record does NOT apply to the Jack BRADY you are seeking.  [This Jack was some years younger and lived in Auckland.]

* Yours is the electrician who lived (mostly) at Hamilton  with his wife Beth ... and as already mentioned is buried at Hamilton Park cemetery.

I'd earlier looked at electoral rolls, and Jack and Beth BRADY appear to have had a daughter (as per 1963 Waikato roll).   She is at her parents address in the next e/roll under her 1st married name.  It would seem that she had a second marriage several years later ?    I cannot see a death or burial record for her (or her husband) so it is assumed she is still living.

Hello from the Waikato.

Check out these cemetery listings to see if you feel any family is a starter, and if so PM me with the details and I can make enquiries [approach people] on your behalf.

LITT is a Taupiri based surname.

There are several PHILLIPS clans in Hamilton.

All live within 20 km from my home.

Alan.

PS PELLOWS the funeral directors are still in business and could be worth emailing to see if they are able to assist. Some companies are more concerned about today's privacy laws than others, so tread carefully.

Thanks Lu did not take that on board.

The Taupiri LITT clan are well known through several generations, in the transport industry and as keen rugby players.

Many thanks I know all about William and Myrtle my great uncle and great Aunty , Hoping to find family for Alma and Jack.

Hello again Linda

On the 1954 electoral roll for Rangitikei, a Glen Barry HOGAN - occupation, carpenter, is at the same address > Wellington Road, Marton > as Alma and George S. HOGAN.  I think it's safe to say that he is probably their son.

Glen Barry HOGAN died aged 80 years, in 2012 and is buried at Wanganui.

As suggested earlier, you may like to contact the Funeral Director, to obtain further information on next-of-kin for Glen Barry HOGAN.

Here is a link to the FD > Dempsey and Forrest of Wanganui (Whanganui).

Glen Barry HOGAN had married in the mid 1950's to Patricia Anastacia KENNY.  She died in October 1991 and is buried with her husband at Wanganui,

Looking at electoral rolls, it seems they may have had as many as 4 children (or 3 and a dau-in-law ??).

Gosh you people are all wonderful

I had concluded the Jack marrying Gwyneth was not my Jack
I do have a personal reason to try to contact this family.
It will answer a lot of questions
Thank you every one I did look at electoral rolls but will confess not everyone.
I will start on the microfiche when our rooms open [finding births in the Waikato area] Finding Jack and Beth s children plus Alma and Georges
Thanks Linda
