Thomas Doran and Anna Byrne - Wicklow
« on: Saturday 30 December 17 14:41 GMT (UK) »
I am searching for the siblings or parents of Thomas Doran, born 1811 in Ireland. Thomas married Anna Byrne in Hacketstown, Carlow and Wicklow 1831 and then moved to Carlisle, Cumberland. Any help would be most appreciated. Thank you. Alison

Unfortunately, all I have found is their marriage online under the Catholic Parish Registers, 1655-1915 with their names only. I have found their census information once they moved and were living in Carlisle.

Do you know Anna's parents names?

Sometimes children can be named after their parents/grandparents/siblings etc....

What censuses do you have the family on

There is this couple named Thomas & Ann Doran both born in Ireland living in Cumberland -
Is this your family?

If it is the correct couple - did Thomas remarry?

Looking at GRO indexes of children their mmn is Berry not Bryne  :-\

If you have the date you can see the entry in the Register.......
