Joseph Moxley

My brickwall is Joseph Moxley born in 1788 somewhere in Cork and immigrated to Canada in 1817.  I have his history once he arrived in Canada.  Hoping to find where he came from or ideas on where I may look.  He married Dorothy Taylor who immigrated from Wexford.  They were married and their children baptized in a Methodist church.
