Missing in 1911
« on: Tuesday 02 January 18 17:14 GMT (UK) »
Ive had trouble finding my ancestor Mary Roberts in 1911. She was born about 1853 in Manchester and married Thomas (or John Thomas) Roberts in 1888 in Wales after the death of her first husband in 1886. Mary and Thomas Roberts had about four children together:

Edward, born 1889 in Holywell, Flintshire
Robert, born 1892 in Holywell
Mary Ellen, born 1894 in Holywell
Bertram, birm about 1897 in Barnsley, Yorkshire

The family are living in Barugh, near Barnsley in 1901 but they all disappear after that. I’ve no idea whether they stayed in Yorkshire or ended up elsewhere.

Can anyone see them please?

Well that explains a lot! Thank you so much, I never even considered that they may have left the country and it all fits nicely.

Thank you once again  :)

Ah thanks, such a large difference in age for Thomas considering he should be in his 50s but I think it definitely is the right family.

Thank you Sandra x
