Look up please
« on: Wednesday 03 January 18 01:53 GMT (UK) »
I am trying to find the parents of James f Clark born in new York about 1855/56. He married Rose mcpeck.

I am particularly interested in his Irish parents. I believe his dad was Joseph clark born about 1822, don't know about his mom her name, or where In Ireland they are from,or when they arrived.

Please can you help?

This 1910 census also states he has been married 31 years

I realise that but it helps us when searching to have a starting point.  Census are always a good thing to post on your request as they can give us clues  :)

What makes you think his father was Joseph born about 1822 ?  Have you any evidence of that ? Or is it just a guess ?

The 1900 census transcribed a son as aged 78 years (an error) when he was born 1882.

No father listed in 1900 - 1905 - 1910 - 1915 ?

Sorry, it was from a member connect who is the dna match. However it could be,like me, got it confused with the son Joseph because of the census mistake. There is the possibility Joseph was named for his grandad.
