Any information about the parents of George Allely and Armour Allely
« on: Wednesday 03 January 18 16:03 GMT (UK) »
I have a fairly extensive family tree for the descendants of both George Allely, born c. 1780 married to Letty Stewart, and an Armour Allely, born c. 1799 and died 1885, married to Isabella Armstrong - both farmers.
If anyone has any information pertaining to their possible relationship (possibly they are brothers?) and as to who their parents are, that would massively help me trace back my family tree. Thanks!

Give a man a record and you feed him for a day.
Teach a man to research, and you feed him for a lifetime.

Yes, I managed to build up quite a few relations based on that information, thank you. Do you have any information relating to both George or Armours parents or any ideas as to where I might find that out, per chance?
