Trying to find out more about the family of Alexander Greig and Isabella Burness of Gateshead. Alexander was born in Chapel of Garioch, Aberdeenshire. Isabella was also from the same area. Their children were John, Isabella, Alexander, Elisabeth and George.

What sort of dates are we talking?

also, if you tell us what you already know and where you have already found them, it will save people duplicating effort and going over it again.
Edmonds/Edmunds - mainly Sussex

Alexander bapt St James Gateshead 11 Dec 1872,William 3.3.1875- June qtr 1876 ,Elizabeth 1.5.1878,George born 7.7.1880 bapt 6.7.1881
Isabella Aberdeen St Nicholas 21.4.1871

In 1871 they were in 11 Young St Aberdeen.
The couple married 17 Dec 1870 - Banchory Devenick,Kincardine,Scotland

1891 13 Regent St Gateshead

Alexander has died and Isabella is a widowed laundress with all the children but John.
Alexander had died Mar qtr 1884.

Lizdb, ciderdrinker has found some of the info I already have plus a little more. I was wondering about the children of the children. What Is the best free source of BDM info in England, or even pay per view - do you know? Sorry I forgot to add the date.

I appreciate everything everyone has added here. Many thanks. Please do not feel you have to research on my behalf. I am really just appealing to anyone who might already have researched these names for their own purposes. The dates in question are as identified by ciderdrinker. I don't have any other documentation. I realise that I probably won't get much further going down that particular line anyhow as it moves into the more modern period, not beyond 1911 anyhow. Thanks again.

Each has a different house number in Frank Tce. Isabella 12, Alexander 13, Elizabeth 14. It is the same setup for all the other entries on the page.
