John Ballam and Anne Jane Hawksby Ballinamuck Co. Longford
« on: Monday 08 January 18 05:01 GMT (UK) »
I just found that my G-G-G-G-Grandparents lived in Ballinamuck Co. Longford Anne Jane's family came from Ballymote, Co Sligo (not sure where John came from)  they were married in 1830. From what I understand John converted to the Methodist religion and his father disowned him, (not sure if this is true or not) they moved to Ballyfarnon Co. Roscommon.  I am hoping that there is some where that I can get more info on them.

Thanks
Aynn

Thank you so much for all the info on John and Anne Jane's son  and the gravestone.  I don't know what religion they were before, however I would hazard a guess of either Anglican or Protestant.
Again Thank you so much
