I realise that the info you have is almost non-existent but do you have a rough time scale of when this elusive person might have died? a search could be made of the death indexes.
hopefully there are not too many people with that name so it can be narrowed down and a death cert obtained which would show place of death which hopefully can narrow the possible resting place.
