religion?
Give a man a record and you feed him for a day.

Hi Marine, confirmations of birth/baptisms of some or more children of the children exist at the Ulster Historical Foundation aka www.ancestryireland.com you would need to acguire copies paying credits etc  perhaps for those you don’t have if they are the right family etc
Alice Butterfield  1826 ancestryireland has birth
     Charles  """" [not found ancestryireland
     Michael   "  "  "1834 ancestryireland has birth
Mary      "   "   " if fathers name entered wrongly two possible
Rose Ann "  "  "1832 ancestryireland has birth
     Thomas    "  "  "1837 ancestryireland has birth
do you have
Ann Butterfield b 1835 dau of a henry
john Butterfield b 1842 son of a henry
Dromore worries me it is the part of a diocesan administration area for both the Diocese of Down and Dromore etc..

I searched for Butterfield locations and found the following
tithes Tithes Applotment Books 1823-1837
based upon the index work of the Irish Genealogy Hub’s
listing for each parish in Northern Ireland, which are quicker to lookup if you know the parish!
The relevant original books are in the
Public Record Office of Northern Ireland (PRONI) Belfast
Butterfield, Hen.-Townland: Edentrimley Year: 1834-Clonallan-Down
Butterfield, Henry, Jr.-Townland: Bavan Year: 1834-Clonallan-Down

Griffiths Valuation butterfields see http://www.askaboutireland.ie/griffith-valuation/

Butterfield   James      Down      Clonallan
Butterfield   Henry      Down      Clonallan
Butterfield   Peter      Down      Clonallan
these have map references and you should be seeing sites or ruins with luck.

PRONI has
wills
Aughnagon Mayobridge Newry county Down
Bavan Mayobridge Newry county Down
Bavin Mayobridge Newry county Down
Carnany county Down

for dromore
http://countydown.x10.mx/html/index2.htm ie raymonds co down  I found no butterfield in his numerous dromore references.

so I come to the conclusion your butterfields are not from Dromore as such but from Bavan and other townlands in Clonallan

An important website is being repaired which hopefully will back my beliefs http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~rosdavies/

see the census 1901
26 in Carnany (Drumgath, Down)
and 3 in Bavan (Upper Clonallan, Down)
I think the family lines are all catholic

hi Marine
Ros Davies Co Down website is back on line only in an archived state Hi Marine
http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com:80/~rosdavies/
I look under Butterfield and McGlade lots of relatives and potential relatives but no mention of marriage

I thought the most useful thing I could finish with is looking at Griffiths valuation for its
two Henry Butterfield entries which are both unlikely to be your original Henry., either a namesake or a son
so I open http://www.askaboutireland.ie/griffith-valuation/
enter Butterfield Henry Co Down and get a result of 4 entries, clicking the first one under ‘Details’
1.  Henry Butterfield Bavan map ref 26 A,B
then close that window rh top corner and open ‘original page’ largest icon
scroll down to 26
henry has 2 parts the A is for his house offices and land 14 acres+ house valued at £6pa
that’s above average with others nearby at 5 shillingspa, [ a house valued at £6pa suggests the family have been there for generations]. Part B is just for more land 8 acres
close window open ‘map view‘  largest icon
withina white circle is a marked rectanglestart clicking in its middle point, enlarges it keep doing so until you can read “Carrickcrossan” it’s within red outlined vertical shaped. To its rhs is Bavan townland againanother vertical red outline with much smaller print saying Bavan lower and Bavan Upper just to confuse the lower half is Bavan upper
the property 26 A is towards the southern end its bottom boundary is the final part of the newry road, now the B8.  use the slider top rh corner and slide towards modern map. now you see the property corner is bounded by the Bavan road.
that’s enough o switch to modern google maps type in Bavan Road, Mayobridge, Newry
and find where the Bavan road b7 intersects with b8   I found that then using a small bottom lhs to Satellite view, now in  Satellite view I clicked on a building right in the corner of the property its No 1 Bavan road, an exceptional pretty building old beautifully maintained.
No 1 the postal address is for Property 26 in valuation sheets

to ensure as far as possible that was his house
I go to https://www.nidirect.gov.uk/information-and-services/search-archives-online/valuation-revision-books I looked foe 26 only
VAL/12/B/22/3A (1923 - 1929) No 26  was Patrick Butterfield  superceded by Edward Butterfield in 1925
VAL/12/B/22/5D (1915 - 1923) No 26  was Patrick Butterfield
VAL/12/B/22/5C (1901 - 1914) No 26  was Patrick Butterfield
VAL/12/B/22/5B (1883 - 1900) No 26  was Henry Butterfield taken by Patrick in 1884
VAL/12/B/22/5A (1864 - 1882) No 26  was Henry Butterfield

maybe you know all this, it’s the prettiest house I have seen, and because I am close to delving close to living people, I stop there
good luck onwards
