Looking for wedding possibly Sawston 1652
« on: Friday 12 January 18 15:38 GMT (UK) »
Hi

I am trying to find the wedding of John Farebanke (Firbank) and Alice Lawrence who I believe were both born in Sawston. Their daughter Annis was baptised there in 1653.

Many thanks

David ;)

If you can't find a marriage, how do you know Alice's maiden name? From a will?

Hi Jon

My original research took place more than 15 years ago when I spent a lot of time at the Cambridgeshire Archives, unfortunately I managed to lose most ot work when my computer crashed and I rather lost interest, what were remained were some notes that I had kept which unfortunately did not include this marriage. I think I am going to need to go back to Cambridge and try and recreate some of the Brick walls that I have now found.

Kind Regards

David ;)
