Walsall burials
« on: Saturday 13 January 18 16:03 GMT (UK) »
I have a baptism of a John Bird on 13/6/1791 to Edward and Mary at Walsall. Free Reg has the burial of a John Bird on 3/7/1791 at Walsall St Matthew Burial Ground but no further information is given. I'd like to know if this burial is of the child born 3 weeks earlier or if I can still claim him as my ancestor! Thanks.

Later evidence would suggest that John born 1791 did not survive. Another John was also baptised 1790  father John. He married in 1820 and is on the 1851 census but without an age on the burial record it will be difficult to be certain.
