Fascinating. Wonderful that you have managed to find out so much about it’s history. Though I missed this thread a couple of years ago, it has been interesting to catch up. Great outcome - the house is lucky to have owners who care so much. Good luck with the restoration.  :)

Thanks for coming back telling us about the fascinating history you have uncovered since you bought the house, it's always nice to get and update.  Have fun with the final stages of the restoration, I'm sure you will be very happy there, it's a lovely house.  :)
