A published tree shows a document for James Hawkins and Lydia Price marriage 10th March 1818 but unfortunately not the next marriage.

On the 1851 census Lydia gives her POB as Thame, which does fit with a baptism of Lydia Price in 27 Nov 1799  at Thame, Oxfordshire and the marriage of Lydia Price to James Hawkins in Thame on 10 Mar 1817.

The marriage of Lydia Hawkins to James Figg was 20 Sep 1824 and is from the Bishop's transcripts.  "This collection is an index of original parish marriage records found in the Centre for Buckinghamshire Studies" as stated on FindMyPast.

The first marriage was 1818 - I know it doesn't alter anything but just thought I would mention it.

You're right, heywood. The image shows 1818 but Ancestry have transcribed it as 1817. I've reported the mistake to them.

I'm not sure if you'll see this because I'm sending from my phone, but this is the birth for phoebe! It doesn't seem to help much because Hawkins is not on there! I've still got to try get the marriage I did go on the Buckinghamshire society page but when I searched for it the website was saying it didn't have it!

I'd still "go" for Sarah Susanna's birth cert to see if that mentions both Price and Hawkins.
