Thanks everyone,
had been told from my late mother that one was on his wedding day 1934 and the other was him in 1945, I was always skeptical that's why I wanted another opinion.

This one bothers me a little.

Things like the arched eyebrows, deeper eye sockets and narrower nostrils of the younger man tell me that he’s not the older man. But there’s a similar look about them - largely something about the eyes, and the smile with the gaps in the front teeth - but also the similar ears, facial creases, and general bone structure.

Could they be brothers, or father and son? Related in some way, I think.

No, he took after his mother and the other brothers looked like there dad, my mother (his sister) always maintained that the wedding photo and this was Luke. But as you say there looks to be a difference, he did used to fight in the old boxing booths maybe his face changed with the punches.

Not that much, I'm thinking.     ;)

My vote is also for 'Not the same'

I think his nose & cheekbones are similar, also the forehead,
I think they could be related.
