1926 Western Provinces census

I am under the impression that the 1926 western Provinces census is supposed to be released this year but I have not been able to find a release date. I assume that it will be available on the LAC site but what about commercial sites?  Anyone with info?

According to Library & Archives Canada website at the bottom of the Census page it states 92 years after the Census took place so I would assume sometime after June 2018 which is when it was taken.

Evidently an online database is to be available by March 2019.

LDS lists it in their collection but I get an error message when I click on the link-

According to LAC they had familysearch do the indexing and LAC will build the free searchable database. I like the word free.

Hi,

Ontario Genealogy Society is saying they should be indexed sometime in March.

Family Search has them but unindexed.

I would think so, as did the 1921.
