 Blimey ! Amazing work you've done here. .....
This genealogy business is awesome!
Thank you so much, its al new to me and getting to know where to look is imperative, as you well know.
I've been connecting the dots and taking on board all this information, the flood gates are open...metaphorically speaking.
Superb..:))

Hopefully I can apply some of these search sites to other ares in tree where the info dries up.

Hi again,
Quote;"blimey......" are you in OZ?
Yes knowing where to search free on-line sites is the key, eg Familysearch.Org/FreeREG/FreeBMD etc
I am in Australia so only use these types of sites.
Other Rootschat members who live in England have access to actual original Parish Records etc.

So if you get stuck try posting new queries on the relevant board on here.

We are a helpful/friendly lot on Rootschat :)

I promised more.

www.freereg.org.uk

I gave you Edward Butterfield/Mary Beals Marriage in Bedfordshire 1790.

They appear to have Baptised no children in Bedfordshire;

Look on FreeREG and you will a Baptism for a EDW Butterfield 1770
3 Siblings 1761/1763/1773
Cant find Parents Marriage or Burials though.

There is also a Baptism for a MARY Beal 1769 in Bedfordshire on there.

And this may be the Marriage of George Jarman;

George JERMAIN to Elizabeth LUCK 28 Oct 1793, St John the Baptist, Aldbury, Hertfordshire
(FreeREG)
Freereg has a soundex option and that is how I found the Marriage.

We know George was buried 14 Apr 1826 age 57, so born c 1767, so married about age 26 which works.
Elizabeth would have been born c 1771 from burial age so 22 at Marriage.

Once again Thanks Trish, I haven't been on for a couple of days, so this new info will defo keep me busy, looking up and adding to the tree.
You mustve been doing this a while to be so adept.
I'm hoping to find seven generatikns. Fingers crossed, but I'm also very interested in the social context of the forebears. Who they were, how they fitted into the social structure and such like. I had thought that my 'jarman' relations were london through and through so it's v interesting to see that they were country folk at one time.

Once again a huge thank you for all your hard work.  Smiley face :)

Just bookmarking as I will be away for a few days.
I'm enjoying your Family to research and yes knowing as much about their lives a possible is the interesting part . Not just collecting names/dates as some Trees like to!

Enjoy your time away, hope you're going to get to do some lovely things.
We're nit in Aus but in the Highlands of Scotland so we've been full of snow this past week. Beautiful, chilly, but a week is enough.
Thanks again, smiley face.
