Hello,
       I'm looking for any information regarding a lady named Euterpe or Enterpe Lilly. Enterpe, a British subject, was born in Turkey c1872. I'm unaware of her maiden surname but she married a man named John Lilly in 1890. John was a merchant, who frequently travelled to Lisbon and Brazil. I've found Enterpe on the 1901 and 1911 census returns, but apart from that, there's not a trace of her to be found. I would like to know where she married and where she ended her days. All help and information would be gratefully received.

On the 1939 Register she is born 1868 , living in Tiverton, Devon. (Information from the free index only please).

The GRO Index Search shows Mother's maiden names for nearlyall births, 1837-1916.
So:
LILLY, LIONEL  WALSH      (Mother's Maiden Name:) POLITACHI      
GRO Reference: 1892  J Quarter in CHORLTON  Volume 08C  Page 744

Confirming the marriage.
Garrad (Suffolk, Essex, Somerset), Crocker (Somerset), Vanstone (Devon, Jersey), Sims (Wiltshire), Bridger (Kent)

LancsBMD website has the marriage taking place at St Paul, Kersal, Salford.

Unfortunately the church records don't appear on the Lancs OPC website. The church is within the district of Broughton on the site.
