I didn't detail the newspaper items about Julia's death as the inquest file is available to download from PROV.  The link in my reply.

Reading the OP's request it is really for information about George BOLLOM.  Surely the OP has done some of his/her family history.  Perhaps we should wait to see if any further help is required.

am hoping to find some information about George Bollom, who was born c. 1836, in Australia, I believe. He may have died in Ballarat.
George Bollom married Julia Catterson in 1858. (Julia may have gone by the surname Berry, as I think she was previously married).
My grandmother always understood that George Bollom's family was from Spain and that the surname may have have originally been Bollomino (or something similar).
I believe that George Bollom was born in Australia, although I don't know when or where. I would love to find out the names of his parents so I can explore the possibly-Spanish connection.

It would appear that this George's death in 1862 at the Melbourne Hospital has not been registered and if so more than likely under an obscure name.  I have trawled through all the 368 George 1862 deaths.  Nothing jumps out as being George BOLLOM.

The 1858 marriage cert would certainly be helpful.

Could this be Julia Mary's sister marrying at Geelong

http://nla.gov.au/nla.news-article150075260
Geelong Advertiser 20 Jan 1859
MARRIED,

Not positive about this, but this looks like Julia arriving in Victoria

Julia M BERRY
Age 29
Arrival Date 6 Jun 1857
Arrival Port Geelong
Departure Port Liverpool
Ship: Black Eagle

She was of York. A laundress. And accompanied by 3 girls, Elizabeth 7. Emily 5. Martha 3.
She was going to William CASTERTON (sic ?? CATTERTON??) of Spring Street,(..??can't read...?) Geelong.

Sue

Going to William CASTERTON of Spring Street, Little Scotland, Geelong.

Death of Julia's first husband
Deaths Dec 1853
BERRY    George Stephen    Caistor    7a/335

I think that Julia's parents also emigrated.  Her mother died in 1854 and father re-married in 1857 and died in 1871.  This is possibly already known to the OP.
