I would love some information about James Murray, who was born in Ireland, c.1816.
James Murray married Margaret Gough.
James Murray and Margaret Gough had two sons who settled in Australia. They were:
Peter Patrick Murray (1842-1917)
James Murray (1845-1912)

Were the 2 sons born in Ireland? If so, do you know what area?

I am connected to Murrays in the Co Down area and the names James and Margaret seem to run through the line
McClean, Kelly, Murray, Higgins, McAnulty (McNulty, Conalty, Kinolty), Morgan, Rafferty, McPolin (All Co Down, Ireland) Bowman, Hooper(Yorkshire)
