Help me find this death informant!
« on: Monday 22 January 18 19:28 GMT (UK) »
In 1897, informant is registered as F Chamberlain, occupier of 44 Webber Street, Southwark.

On the electoral register there is an Edward Chamberlain listed at 44 Webber Street Southwark between 1894 and 1903, so was hoping to find him on the 1901 census.

But I can't - I can't even find the address on the census. I really want to find this family as although it will probably lead to nothing, it's my last "lead" as to what might have happened to the deceased's baby, who I can't find in 1901 or 1911.

Thank you. I did find that entry but wasn't sure as it's Lambeth and I thought that was a separate district to Southwark

Part of the street appears to be in Southwark and the rest in Lambeth

Looks as though Mr. Chamberlain died in 1902

Deaths Dec 1902
Chamberlain    Edward James    31    Lambeth    1d   224

The 1911 shows the children from the 1901 census living with A & F Thrift and five children from the Thrift union.

This looks like the youngest Thrift child's birth registration

THRIFT, WALTER  AMOS     COOK
GRO Reference: 1911  M Quarter in SOUTHWARK  Volume 01D  Page 5

I am struggling to find a marriage for the parents A & F Thrift.
