Thank you for the coloured version and the addition of the fox Pablo59. Hopefully we kept the Hen House shut up at night or the fox would have the hens!!!

The cottage on the left was called Elm Cottage as the trees were Elms. And I now can see on some of the others photos & remember that the hedge down the road was full of Elderflowers.

Thank you everyone who took the time to help with restoring my childhood home.

I can now look at the photos and enjoy them without looking at the black spots that were once on them. And they will look good on the piece I am writing about the history of the house. Although have still got quite a bit of research to do for that.

I loved the colour & additions that were put on them too.

You may be interested these were taken from almost the same spot as the others but in the bad winter of 1963.
